We believe quality plants deserve Anderson Pots
Anderson Die & Manufacturing designs and manufactures quality, reusable nursery containers and allied products for the wholesale nursery trade. Our products are available from nursery supply companies and in garden centers throughout North America. Quality produced in Portland, Oregon since 1965, Anderson Pots are the nursery industry standard. Everything we sell, we make in Oregon in our 60,000 square foot plant featuring some of today’s finest state-of-the-art plastic injection molding machines. We are situated on 9 acres just off US Highway 99E (McLoughlin Boulevard) in Portland.
Why Anderson Pots?
While some choose Anderson Pots for their long term value compared to thin-walled plastic throwaways, there are many other reasons Anderson Pots are so highly prized. In addition to being a quality, reusable investment that can be justified economically in terms of long term value, our polyethylene and polypropylene pots’ innovative designs offer growers:
- High survival rates
- Excellent root development
- Stacking ribs to inhibit root circling
- Improved root protection from the sun’s rays
- Improved root protection from cold temperatures
- Water saving drainage designs
- Ease of handling in potting and grafting
- Wide, stable bases to resist tipping
- Volume discounts for higher volume users
- Custom designs to meet individual company needs
- Fast delivery from our large inventory of popular sizes
We strive to always offer competitive prices on top quality injection-molded plastic nursery products; prices that are truly bargains for what you get. But, we will never be the cheapest container supplier for nurseries who look for initial cost over quality and service. If you are looking for the cheapest initial price on a pot, you should probably look elsewhere.
On the other hand, if service and long term value drive your decision making, Anderson Pots may be exactly what you seek. Our customers tell us our pots last and last. It is not uncommon to find Anderson Pots more than a decade old still in use in American Nurseries. We offer outstanding long term value in an age of short-cuts and throw-aways.
