PORTLAND, OR; January 12, 2015 – Anderson Die & Manufacturing has announced four new Polycan™ nursery containers designed specifically for northwest nurseries. For 2015, a redesigned #1 Deep container, a new tag slot #2 Deep, a new #10 Squat, and a new #15 Squat are all in production and available now. In addition, bulk pallets of a new design 6” recessed drainage greenhouse container in both the 6” deep and 4 1⁄2” deep sizes will come on line in 2015. These new containers offer better nesting to lower transportation costs. All new containers offer traditional Anderson quality at slightly lower price levels. In addition, George Anderson, chairman of the board, has announced record company sales for the just completed fourth quarter of 2014 and for entire year of 2014. Anderson’s sales last year were up 38% over 2013 as the Oregon nursery industry sales continue to strengthen and additional nurseries switch to Anderson containers. Anderson’s annual sales have tripled in the past 4 years.
