| PORTLAND, OR; September 2, 2008 – President George C. Anderson of the pioneer Oregon nursery container company, Anderson Die & Manufacturing, has announced that Richard C. (Rick) Anderson has joined the firm as Vice President. |

Rick Anderson’s background includes a Business & Technology degree from Oregon State University and a MBA from Portland State University. He served as an aircraft maintenance officer in the United States Air Force reaching the rank of Captain. Anderson has an extensive background in the musical instrument industry and has served on the board of directors of both the National Association of Electronic Organ Manufacturers and the International Association of Electronic Keyboard Manufacturers. He is married and lives in southwest Portland. Anderson and his wife, Nancy, have five children. |
| Anderson first tasks will center on expanding the firm’s business and sales opportunities,
developing a comprehensive company web site and upgrading the firm’s computer systems. Anderson Die & Manufacturing, founded in 1954 by George Anderson, is a plastic injection molding company known as an innovator and quality leader in reusable plastic nursery pots and allied products. The company sells through select nursery supply distributors as well as to direct accounts across the United States and in the export market from its Portland, Oregon headquarters and manufacturing facility. |
